Fifth-grade students from angel Oak and Springfield Elementary schools are working together with South African skipper Neal Peterson to create a coloring book about his life.
Dianne Tennyson took several of her art students from Angel Oak Elementary to the state Ports Authority dock to draw Peterson’s boat. He is putting finishing touches on the boat he designed and built in preparation for the September Around Alone race, in which he will sail around the world solo on his boat.
The coloring book will be sold worldwide to help with Peterson’s expenses.
