With 20 years of teaching art and art therapy experience, Dianne Tennyson’s fervor for art is evident and infectious. Currently, Tennyson teaches full time at Wando High School and offers art lessons to adults and children in her home studio. Tennyson has students from age three to age fifty, learning about drawing, painting and sculpture. Her popular Mothers and Toddlers art class will begin again this summer and is sure to please kids and moms alike. Ms. Tennyson is also a registered and experienced art therapist having worked with children and adults in a variety of situations. Her caseload has included work with people dealing with substance abuse, sexual abuse, depression, and bipolar disorder. Art therapy techniques can be applied to individuals, couples, families, and small groups, and no special skills are necessary for the participants. If you are interested in art classes or art therapy for yourself or your child, contact Dianne Tennyson at 881-1799.
